About The Position

We’re seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support our U.S. Government program(s). The Subject Matter Expert will be responsible for translating Government requirements into project plans from configuration to deployment and sustainment for a particular SATCOM subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems). Deploy, install, and implement SATCOM at Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS). Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for SATCOM system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts. Develop and apply statistical methods and analysis techniques to troubleshoot any issue and resolve challenging SATCOM/network problems. Use software utilities and/or hardware functionalities to resolve anomalous operational issues. Provide analysis and documentation on emerging threats, issues and/or changes in operating scope. Brief Government technical and management staff as required. Perform end-to-end configuration, implementation, test, deployment, and documentation of Hostile area IT systems. Customize Network topologies to maximize dataflow and minimize latency. Investigate and resolve unexplained anomalous network activity Document new/potential sources of unauthorized access to networks, databases and systems and potential mitigation strategies Work independently; manage schedules to meet customer requirements. Meet with the clients, stakeholders, and customers to define technical project scope, gather Government requirements, and suggest policy recommendations and solutions Sustain operational SATCOM systems

Requirements

  • A Bachelors Degree is desired. An additional four years of experience can be substitute the degree.
  • Twelve years of experience in a role or project of similar type work
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate Polygraph (Poly)
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be an excellent communicator – verbal & written
  • Must be able to work with team members and by individually
  • Must be able to connect with individuals of varying backgrounds
