The Supplier Account Manager is accountable to initiate, develop and implement effective Supplier Performance and Relationship management programs to ensure performance (productivity, quality, sustainability and delivery), growth and innovation, while effectively managing risk and spend. Your role: Understands the full business relationship with each of the assigned suppliers, its position in the market relative to others, including strengths, weaknesses, strategic direction, investment plans, cost competitiveness, capabilities and capacity including relevant knowledge on products. Manages supplier performance to meet annual operating targets. Develops, maintains and executes Supplier account strategies for the assigned supplier portfolio clearly defining areas of improvement (cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, innovation) as well as relevant future business opportunities. Relentlessly drives impact to the bottom and top line through Supplier Performance Development and innovative Negotiation approach. Drive compliance, contract and risk management.

  • Initiate, develop and implement effective Supplier Performance and Relationship management programs.
  • Understand the full business relationship with each assigned supplier.
  • Manage supplier performance to meet annual operating targets.
  • Develop, maintain and execute Supplier account strategies for the assigned supplier portfolio.
  • Define areas of improvement in cost, delivery, quality, responsiveness, and innovation.
  • Drive impact to the bottom and top line through Supplier Performance Development.
  • Drive compliance, contract and risk management.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration and/or Engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience as a strategic buyer, Site Project Procurement manager, or Business Process Engineer.
  • A track record in strategic procurement.
  • Technical affinity or background is very helpful.
  • Broad experience with electro-mechanical and electronic components categories preferred.
  • Medical industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience driving innovative supplier relationship management.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix and remote environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Experience with cables, batteries, power supplies, Asics, PCB, passive and similar components.
