If you are a seasoned subcontracts management professional looking to make an impact in a rewarding industry, join our team! As a Subcontracts Management Specialist III, you'll develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for our subcontract systems to guide the development, production, and global sustainment for multiple contract types. You'll be responsible for preparing our bid packages, developing evaluation criteria, analyzing and evaluating our proposals, negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending new subcontractors, and administering our subcontracts. Additionally, you'll administer standard subcontracts agreements, such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Material (T&M), and Cost Reimbursable (CR) Fixed-Fee, through the entire contract lifecycle, and will participate and lead moderate negotiations of terms, price, and schedule, and will monitor subcontractor performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) compliance
  • Experience working in CostPoint or other ERP systems
  • Proficiency in oral and written communications
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Relevant certifications (CPIM, CSSP, CPM, etc.)
  • Detailed Price Analysis Experience
