About The Position

The Army/Navy Business Group (ANBG) at SAIC is a full acquisition organization supporting external and internal customer missions across the acquisition value chain, from customer engagement and strategy development to program execution and supply chain management. Their dynamic team of acquisition professionals supports key business areas and strategy for SAIC’s Growth Technology Accelerants (GTA) including Secure Cloud, Enterprise IT, and Systems Integration & Delivery, as well as core business initiatives like Engineering Services, IT & Technical Services, and Logistics & Supply Chain. SAIC is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Analyst to administer and manage subcontracts and proposals for various Department of Defense Agencies. This fully remote position does not have direct reports and requires an individual who can thrive in fast-paced environments, work both independently and collaboratively, and multi-task across projects. The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic partner to stakeholders throughout the capture, proposal, and contract execution phases.

Responsibilities

  • Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production and global sustainment for multiple contract types.
  • Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
  • Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
  • Frequent use and application of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
  • Participates in the development of solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity.
  • Often refers to policies, procedures and practices for guidance.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Contributes to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
