About The Position

Advanced Disaster Recovery, Inc., is a leading restoration contractor in the NY/NJ/PA/CT area with more than 35 years of experience in disaster restoration. We are looking for motivated, service-centric full-time employees to help grow our team of professionals in the region. We provide restoration services such as emergency response, emergency pre-planning, construction services, catastrophe response, contents restoration, environmental services, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage, and water damage services to commercial, insurance, and residential clients. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Responsibilities

• Installing wooden structures such as roofing frames, rafters, partitions, joists and stud work
• Designing and installing cabinets, shelving, fitted furniture, drywall and insulation
• Adding fixtures and fittings such as door handles, locks, hinges and closures
• Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other materials (e.g. fiberglass) according to measurements
• Building window frames, doors, staircases and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Laying out floorings, roofings or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Carving and assembling furniture, cabinets, shelves and other items and installing them where designated
• Inspecting places and conducting repairs or maintenance
• Building scaffolding and other construction structures
