About The Position

You will support Hitachi Energy’s Grid Integration business by managing the sourcing and commercial activities for contracted services tied to substations, including civil works and erection. In this Tecno‑Commercial, individual‑contributor role, you will plan and run sourcing strategies, negotiate agreements with main contractors, establish and maintain supplier frameworks, and oversee supplier performance across bids, quotations, and project execution. You will also manage purchase orders under defined thresholds, monitor delivery to requirements, and drive cost‑out and benchmarking initiatives that help the business meet its financial targets. By identifying and mitigating contractual risks, adapting corporate contractual frameworks to local needs, and fostering clear communication with internal teams and external E&C companies, your work helps projects land on time, within budget, and to expected quality—supporting reliable grid infrastructure build‑outs and upgrades. Along the way, you’ll sharpen your negotiation and contract management craft, deepen your understanding of E&C supply markets (including Germany), and partner closely with sales/tender, engineering, and SCM colleagues to keep projects moving with speed and clarity.
