About The Position

The Subcontract Manager position is a key senior member of the site-based subcontract team coordinating subcontract and service agreements through daily interface with subcontractors, service providers, owner representatives, field management team, project management team, and corporate support departments. The Subcontract Manager will possess a commercial/contractual proficiency along with experience in subcontract sourcing, field execution, commercial management, change management, safety, quality, and project controls. The individual should possess requisite leadership skills to motivate others, work with others, coordinate efforts and require a minimum amount of direction from project or executive management. This individual will demonstrate effective communication skills and participate in the selection, training, and development of subordinate staff.

Requirements

• Prior subcontract leadership experience.
• Experience in subcontract sourcing and field execution.
• Proficiency in commercial management and change management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in safety and quality management.
• Ability to work with minimal direction from project or executive management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontract and service agreements with subcontractors and service providers.
• Administer contracts and manage field coordination duties on medium to large size projects.
• Lead and motivate a team of 6 staff members.
• Participate in the selection, training, and development of subordinate staff.
