About The Position

We are ready now to lead the transformation of the nation’s brand-new air traffic control system—an ambitious initiative to enhance safety, improve reliability and security, reduce outages, decrease the total cost of ownership, and prepare the aviation system for the future by replacing aging infrastructure with modern technologies and state-of-the-art facilities. Successful candidates will have proven experience in one of the following roles: Subcontracts Manager. Candidates must be US Persons located in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
• At least 7+ years of related management work experience involving typical procurement activities, including subcontracting.
• Extensive knowledge of subcontracting activities typical to federal aviation, engineering, and construction.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Working knowledge of PC software packages typically associated with procurement.
• Proven ability to perform in a lead capacity.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with award or incentive fee contracts.
• Demonstrated experience successfully managing and leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of the air traffic control system.
• Manage subcontracting activities typical to federal aviation, engineering, and construction.
• Negotiate subcontracts effectively.
• Support a portfolio of at least $5B to $10B.
