About The Position

You will be the Subcontract Administrator Senior for our Contracts team. Our team is responsible for developing and administering subcontracts that support the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for development, production, and global sustainment projects. As the Subcontract Administrator Senior, you will be responsible for managing the subcontracting process from start to finish, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. You will play a critical role in supporting multiple contract types and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business results.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in procurement operations, with in-depth knowledge of federal and company-specific acquisition policies, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFAR), Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), and Contract Acquisition Procedures (CAP)
  • Strong technical background in building trades, materials, industrial gases, machinery, and maintenance, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a proactive approach to ensuring seamless support and satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workloads effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to analyze issues, develop creative solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve shared goals
  • Proficient in computer applications, including SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning systems, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, as required, to support business needs and objectives

Responsibilities

  • Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions
  • Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, and evaluating proposals
  • Negotiating subcontract provisions, selecting or recommending subcontractors, and administering resulting subcontracts
  • Coordinating with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
