About The Position

The Express Service Technician at Brewster Subaru is responsible for performing basic service and light repairs on customer vehicles. The role emphasizes safe and efficient service delivery while adhering to dealership processes and policies. The technician will conduct inspections, document findings, and ensure a smooth workflow in the Express Service bays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license
• Basic knowledge of automotive technology and related tools/equipment
• Strong customer service focus
• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking ability
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Some automotive technology courses preferred
• Prior automotive service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs express service and light repairs on customer vehicles
• Conducts multi-point inspections of customer vehicles to identify needed express services and repairs
• Follows all required safety and hazardous materials procedures as required by dealership policies and applicable laws and regulations
• Uses and maintains dealership-provided tools and equipment in proper operating condition
• Documents inspection findings and service requirements clearly and accurately and communicates them to the Express Service Representative
• Communicates proactively to ensure a smooth, safe flow of work through the Express Service bays
• Quality-checks own work and the work of other Technicians as requested
