About the position

Under the general direction of the Senior Director and/or Assistant Director - Early Learning Program, manages the Early Learning Program central office, supervising the clerical staff and directing the flow of work. Plans, organizes, and directs the department volunteer program and oversees community partnership programs. Provides support for administrative activities and monitors compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university.
  • Two (2) years' experience of progressively responsible administrative, secretarial, office management, and technical experience.
  • Possess an appropriate California Driver's License with evidence of insurability.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in supervision and establishing work production standards.
  • Experience in speaking to groups.
  • Experience in producing newsletters, flyers, and brochures.
  • Experience working under Title 22 and Title 5 Regulations.
  • Experience in a public education environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
