About The Position

Responsibilities

• Teaches and implements the total curriculum as assigned by the supervisor.
• Plans and assigns student activities in classroom and/or clinical settings.
• Identifies individual and collective learning needs of assigned students.
• Maintains records of student progress, performance, attendance, and grades.
• Prepares, administers, and grades written and practical examinations.
• Devises written lesson plans and implements them through various teaching methods.
• Discusses students' concerns related to their learning experience.
• Participates in regularly scheduled meetings with the Program Director or designee.
• Assists students in developing an understanding of values, attitudes, and ideals appropriate to the health care profession.
• Participates in the selection and preparation of instructional materials.
• Oversees and facilitates laboratory sessions for students.
