About The Position

The Learning Tree in Huntley is a licensed childcare center seeking Substitute/Floater Teachers to work with all age groups, Infants-PreK! To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a minimum of a High School diploma or GED and be able to pass all background checks! Childcare experience highly preferred! Required Shift: Flexible hours based on availability/center needs Compensation: $18-$19/hr. Pay is based on education and experience. Responsibilities

Responsible for the safety and well-being of students and staff at all times.
Develops positive relationships with children and families.
Participates in professional development activities designated by the Director, which may include workshops, curriculum meetings, planning, committee service.
Maintains a neat, clean, well-organized environment. Ensures that the classroom and associated areas (including playground) meet all licensing, safety, and health requirements.
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
