The Substitute Bus Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for children/students, ensuring they can fully benefit from the District's school program. This position involves driving a school bus, maintaining a schedule, and interacting with children, parents, teachers, and other employees. The driver must also maintain records, inspect the bus for mechanical issues, enforce student discipline, and keep the bus clean. The role requires reporting accidents and performing basic data recording tasks. The contract is for 176 days per year, with a work schedule of 6-8 hours per day.
