About The Position

SkyMark Refuelers LLC is seeking qualified Sub Assembly Welder to join the team! This position is located in Kansas City, MO. We are looking for skilled individuals to grow our dedicated team. The Sub-Assembly Welder for the KC Tank division will be responsible for welding and fabricating sub-assemblies for large tanks. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and TIG welding with Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Mild Steel, as well as experience with blueprint reading and measuring tools. The Sub-Assembly Welder will work closely with the production team to ensure that all sub-assemblies are completed accurately and on time. SkyMark Refuelers is a market leading manufacturer of custom work trucks serving the aviation refueling, liquid waste removal, hi-rail maintenance, direct-to-locomotive refueling, and refined fuel delivery industries. With its headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri, SkyMark also operates a world-class aviation refueler facility in Findlay, Ohio along with a tank plant in Sullivan, Illinois.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Experience with blueprint reading and measuring tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Time Management skills, including meeting deadlines and work attendance

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate sub-assemblies for large tanks
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy of sub-assemblies
• Collaborate with production team to ensure timely completion of sub-assemblies
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
