About The Position
Blue Core Craft is a marine manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality components for offshore boats. We’re growing and looking for a Sub-Assembly Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling acrylic and other key components used throughout our marine products. Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or mechanical assembly preferred
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and build instructions
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Responsibilities
- Assemble pre-cut acrylic parts using drawings, schematics, and build instructions
- Read and interpret design documents to ensure proper fit, orientation, and layout
- Apply fasteners, gaskets, and other components with consistency and care
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, functionality, and appearance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team leads to communicate progress, flag issues, and request materials
