About The Position
Jean-Claude Biguine, a beautiful and busy salon located on the Upper East Side, is seeking a full-time Stylist/Colorist to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on providing an exceptional client experience and are looking for a self-driven professional who is passionate about hair and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in fluent English and be proficient in conducting efficient consultations that lead to sales. We are looking for someone who can not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations, ensuring they leave our salon feeling satisfied and valued. As a Stylist/Colorist at Jean-Claude Biguine, you will be responsible for performing a variety of hair services, including men’s and women’s haircuts, hair coloring techniques such as French balayage, high/lowlights, double process, color correction, and hair treatments. Your in-salon experience will be crucial in delivering high-quality services that align with our salon's standards. Additionally, being Wella and Kerastase educated is a plus, as is having certification in hair extensions.
