ACU Study Abroad seeks nominations and applications for the position of Director of Study Abroad Operations. This position, which reports directly to the Executive Director of International Education and Study Abroad, provides overall administrative leadership and management of the Abilene office and on-campus efforts. The primary mission of the ACU Study Abroad is to educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world through interaction with the global Christian community, academic excellence, the pursuit of wisdom, the practice of humility, and through giving and receiving hospitality. The director must demonstrate an active commitment to the Christian mission of the University and the mission of ACU Study Abroad. The Director of Study Abroad Operations closely with the Executive Director of Study Abroad and International Education to support ACU Study Abroad programs through the administration of the student recruiting cycle, management of ACU Study Abroad marketing and advertising efforts, communication and cooperation with ACU Study Abroad Directors, communication and cooperation with ACU on-campus offices and departments, supervision and leadership of ACU Study Abroad student worker team, academic management, and other general project management.
