PLI is searching for a multimedia professional to fill the role of Studio Technician (On-Call) (responsibilities and qualifications are described below). Requirements

  • 1-3 years of production experience in entertainment, web, broadcast or cable television required.
  • Proficiency is necessary in Microsoft Office & Adobe Creative Production Suite
  • Must have experience in corporate events.
  • Must be able to work responsibly on own, but also to interact professionally with a wide range of internal clients.
  • Must display a willingness to juggle multiple projects and calmly meet challenging deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production is a plus.
  • Switcher Experience a plus.
  • Audio experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Camera Operation:
  • Set up and operate a variety of cameras to capture high-quality footage.
  • Adjust camera settings such as exposure, focus, and composition to achieve desired visual outcomes.
  • Technical director:
  • Switch between camera feeds, graphics, and other video inputs to create a polished and professional production.
  • Audio Technician:
  • Monitor and adjust audio levels to maintain clear and balanced sound quality.
  • Ensure to place lavalier on speaker correctly.
  • Maintain effective and professional relationships within the Multimedia department and through the organization.
  • Teleprompter knowledge
  • Communicate effectively with Multimedia management.
  • Post-Production editing
  • Maintain and organize studio equipment.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and assist in equipment setup and breakdown.
  • Other duties, as assigned.
