About The Position
Under direct supervision, the Studio Student Assistant will assist staff with: Provide support to students and faculty in open labs and classes Set up, clean and maintain studio equipment Assist with studio production Manage equipment check-out, maintenance and inventory Organize and set up control room and production room Handle media capture and off-load Operate LED wall and related equipment Take direction, show initiative and work as a team player Attend meetings and work weekends as needed Assist staff with maintain production equipment and storage Carry equipment as required Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work
- Follow oral instructions
- Work cooperatively with faculty, staff, and other students
- Communicate effectively with all levels
- Read and write English at a level appropriate to the position
- Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
- Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated), or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
- In good academic standing (not on academic probation, continued probation, academic dismissal).
- Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
