A Studio Operator (Staff With Advanced Training) or SWAT Studio Operator is a lead operator with advanced training. Responsible for operation of all the necessary and advanced studio equipment and supporting equipment for all shows, live shots, and remote productions across CNN networks. Function as the sole individual responsible for flash studio and sub-control room operation for single or multiple camera inserts for network shows. Shades and chips cameras, maintains studio, routes and maintains quality of incoming and outgoing video and audio. Able to multitask by operating several cameras simultaneously and communicating across all CNN networks. Provides in-depth training to less knowledgeable staff while helping to troubleshoot and train on new technologies. Able to train new employees.
