The Roc Nation School's mission is to prepare students for careers in every aspect of modern entertainment through experiential learning with industry experts and access to professional opportunities. As a way to advance its goal of closing the college completion gap, the School is working with strategic partners in New York City Public Schools and the US Department of Education to implement the Roc Nation Early Scholars Program-- providing high school students the opportunity to take up to twelve college credits and participate in university life here at Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus at no cost to students. The Roc Nation School is seeking passionate and dedicated students to guide and support high school students as mentors in the Roc Nation Early Scholars Program. This program invites high school students to take up to twelve credits in sports and music, with the goal of becoming part of our academic community over the course of two years and into their college careers. The student mentor will play a critical role in providing these students with the guidance, resources, and encouragement they need to succeed academically and personally.
