About The Position

Under the direct, personal supervision of a registered radiologic technologist, sonographer, or nuclear medicine technologist, the student worker assists in the performance of high quality radiographic, sonographic, or nuclear medicine exams.

Requirements

• CPR-BLS
• Enrollment in accredited School of Radiation Sciences, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine Program.
• Current student in an accredited School of Radiation Sciences.

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical work experience in an acute care/trauma setting.
• One year of clinical experience in accredited School of Radiation Sciences, Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine Program.in an academic

Responsibilities

• Assists in the performance of high quality radiographic, sonographic, or nuclear medicine exams.
• Providing patient care, emotional support, and problem solving; all in accordance with hospital and radiology policy/procedure.
• Initiates request for patient transportation.
• Directs patients to imaging rooms.
• Stocks and/or obtains supplies as directed.
