Student Worker - Outdoor Maintenance
About The Position
PGL, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a Student Worker - Outdoor Maintenance in our Fisher, Illinois location. This position will start in May or June, works full-time, 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday during the summer months. Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED or HSED
- Enrolled as a part-time or full-time student pursuing a technical, associate, bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Valid driver’s license and meet the company’s requirements for driving
Nice To Haves
- Previous mechanical training or experience
- Previous experience working outdoors, landscaping, or lawn care
Responsibilities
- Indoor Cleaning & Maintenance (e.g. dusting, sweeping, painting, equipment/facility cleaning & maintenance, unloading & loading warehouse products, garbage removal, general cleaning, etc.)
- Outdoor Maintenance (e.g. yard maintenance/planting, lawn mowing, debris clean up, painting, snow removal, wash/dry vehicles, equipment, & facilities, basic landscaping, window washing, installing/replacing signs on buildings and fences throughout the facility, etc.)
- Picking up used materials (valves, metals) after repairs have been done at gas well sites and station areas
- Assisting storage operators with general maintenance of valves, piping and gas well sites
- Driving company vehicles to the various well sites
