About The Position

We are seeking friendly and outgoing individuals to join our team as a Visitor Services Associate. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, can work in a (sometimes) fast paced environment, and wants to be part of a fun and dynamic team! In this job you will be at the front desk of the Mayborn Museum and will assist with daily operations including: Greeting and welcome visitors Answering phone calls and assisting with inquiries Processing ticket sales for admission, classes, and memberships Managing and reconciling cash register transactions accurately Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures Maintain punctual and consistent attendance An ideal candidate would have: Good customer service skills Open availability, including weekends and summer Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities Proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently Commitment to maintaining professionalism and adhering to University policies Provide general office assistance and support Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed Ability to comply with University policies Maintain regular and punctual attendance We are currently looking for students with open availability for the winter break but will consider ongoing employment dependent on student's performance.
