Requirements

• MUST BE A CURRENT HCC STUDENT DURING THE SPRING 2026 SEMESTER.
• MUST BE ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 6 CREDITS.
• UNLESS FIRST-SEMESTER STUDENT, MUST HAVE ATTAINED A 2.0 SEMESTER GPA DURING THE LAST SEMESTER ATTENDED.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer a student who has completed one or more IST courses such as IST 108, IST 150, or IST 154 (or be A+ certified)
• Above average troubleshooting and Internet search skills and the ability to use an Excel spreadsheet is also preferable
• Letter of recommendation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up equipment for hands-on activities and returning components to supply room after classroom activities
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Keep supply room organized
• Document old or unneeded equipment for disposal
• Assist in research for equipment and supply purchases
• Keep cage area neat and orderly
• Image drives & duplicate disks
• Organize software disks
