This position supports the ongoing preservation and organization of the Halston Fashion Archives. The student worker will assist with assessing, rehousing, and labeling historical garments and related archival materials; organizing photography, film, negatives, sketches, and other materials by year, collection, or category; and conducting light research to support archival documentation. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, gathering and organizing Joe Eula sketches and other design materials, assisting with general archival organization, and completing additional tasks assigned by the Department of Fashion & Design or Beaman Library archivists and librarians. Strong attention to detail, the ability to handle delicate materials with care, and an interest in fashion history, archival work, or museum studies are preferred. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. This position may be federal work study eligible.
