FY26 Student Worker - Friendship Fields Learning Coach (5544)
About The Position
Friendship Fields is seeking a dependable student worker to support adults who are enrolled in the Friendship Fields program. Support includes but is not limited to: help with written assignments in the classroom, help when traveling from one campus location to another, being a companion, modifying activities to fit the students' needs and abilities, occasional clerical work, supporting instructors and the director, accompanying students on field trips, accompanying students at various locations on campus such as the library, lower Casado, upper Casado, and McKay Gym. Helping the Friendship fields students interact with traditional college students and participate in campus events. Friendship Fields is open from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Shifts available are 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled as a student at Friends University
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and patience
- Ability to display empathy for and interest in the students
