About The Position
The Freshwater Research Institute (FRI) collects and stores long-term data from stream ecology surveys across the Susquehanna River Basin. The FRI Middle Susquehanna River Keeper Intern, or R Intern, will work within the R environment to complete statistical computations and create graphics and tables from existing data. R is a freely available language and software environment that is widely used across a variety of disciplines. Previous job duties include developing code for quality control checks for database tables, and creating graphs of temperature data from loggers for biological interpretation. This position is defined as a non-exempt position under FLSA regulations.
