About The Position

Job Related Skills: Work independently, learn/use basic software such as google sheets/slides, word processing, keynote, PowerPoint, and online/library research tools to identify peer-reviewed research and subject matter materials in sustainability (renewable energy, green business, Earth and building science, agriculture, psychology, sociology, and related applied and theoretical practices). Willing to learn and publish content using Canvas, Zoom, Panopto, and other online course software. Willing to plan student and graduate course travel itineraries, investigate, document, and publish metrics of study sites and contact, secure, connect, and schedule the reliable participation of top sustainability professionals by phone, email, and other means to lead/teach/host out-of-state study sites annually. Experience: Sk illed/confident in basic literature review tasks, basic research, independent work schedule, task orientation, meeting deadlines, and comfortable probing and interpreting written and graphic materials in basic science, engineering, business, psychology, and sociology. Must be a current Lipscomb University student. This position pays $20 per hour and requires 15 – 20 hours of independent work per week with weekly check-in meetings, Paid travel may be required 2-3 times per year. May be eligible for Federal Work Study.
