About The Position

Great Basin College is seeking a student worker to assist with various duties within the institution. The position requires the candidate to be a student of Great Basin College, enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester, and maintaining a 2.0 GPA. The candidate must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services. Responsibilities include providing assistance to instructors, greeting students and faculty, cleaning and sanitizing gym equipment, collecting money, and performing receptionist duties. The role may also involve being assertive in addressing safety protocol violations and assisting with Student Government activities. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and is available for up to 19 hours per week, with a pay rate of $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be a student of Great Basin College.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the semester.
• Must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
• Must qualify for Work Study or RSP through Student Financial Services.
• Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Customer service skills.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Must be responsible and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
