About The Position

Campus Recreation engages students and the Baylor community in experiential learning, and recreational and leisure activities that equip individuals to live balanced, holistic, and healthy lifestyles. The Fitness Center enhances the mission by helping students, faculty, & staff engage in healthy lifestyle practices, encouraging cardiovascular and muscular fitness. This role provides quality customer service and maintains a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all Fitness Center patrons. Primary responsibilities include greeting patrons, tracking attendance, cleaning & organizing equipment, ensuring safe use of all exercise equipment, educating regarding Fitness Center usage policies, and assisting with spotting as needed. Moderate to heavy lifting is required to organize gym equipment. Must have strong communication skills, the ability to work with a team, and display time management skills.
