About The Position

Support the daily operations and professional broadcast production of the Ohio Wesleyan Esports program. This role ensures smooth team coordination and enhances the program’s visibility through high-quality livestreams and recruitment support.

Requirements

• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with Discord and Google Workspace;
• Basic knowledge of OBS (or willingness to learn) for production-focused applicants.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in esports, digital media, or team management;
• Prior OWU involvement or gaming experience is helpful but not required.
• Experience with Twitch, video editing, or production equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling practices and matches, track attendance, and maintain team records.
• Manage program communications via Discord and email; support recruitment efforts by coordinating with prospective students.
• Set up and operate OBS for Twitch livestreams, including managing audio, transitions, and overlays.
• Maintain broadcast equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues during live events.
• Assist with social media planning and create post-stream highlight clips.
