Eco Reps work within the Office of Sustainability (OOS) as project leaders and peer educators, connecting Baylor's environmental stewardship to student life and campus culture. Position is open to undergraduate or graduate students that are interested in leading progress on environmental issues, with preference for students majoring in related fields. Competitive applicants should have strong communication and organization skills. Wage is set to align with the same roles at other universities. This OOS Student Worker position will serve as the Biodiversity Eco Rep, leading on operational, educational, and service initiatives that promote biodiversity conservation on Baylor’s campus. Specific responsibilities include: 1. Upholding our national recognition as a Tree Campus Higher Education institution 2. Initiating and upholding our national recognition as a Bee Campus USA affiliate 3. Creating outreach, marketing, and peer education materials for Baylor’s biodiversity efforts 4. OOS Event/engagement general support (examples below:) a. Earth Week. b. Resilient Hope series. c. Campus Sustainability Month 5. Additional OOS duties as assigned
