About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for Custodial Student Worker positions for the Facilities Maintenance Services department. Note: This position is subject to a pre-employment, post-accident and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol test. The candidate selected for hire will be required to sign a form acknowledging this policy.

Requirements

• Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno
• Candidate must be able to work through winter and summer breaks
• Candidate must be dependable, reliable, thorough, motivated, and detail oriented
• Candidate must be able to work as a member of a team and follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing classrooms
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
• Disinfecting and wiping down various surfaces
• Restocking hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes in classrooms and common areas
• Vacuuming floors using a backpack/upright vacuum
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Taking out trash
