About The Position

Assists with general program operations including administrative tasks and communicating updates and information to new and current students.

Requirements

  • Current WNMU student.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Skill in general office duties and office equipment to include telephones, copier, Fax, and computer/computer programs.
  • Must be knowledgeable of University policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy.
  • Must be sensitive to cultural differences within the University and community.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

  • General administrative tasks including filing, making copies, and supporting AES staff in creating physical student files.
  • Contacting current and prospective students to provide updates regarding course schedules, orientation dates, and pre and post-testing dates.
  • Provide general support to new and current students by directing them to appropriate personnel and resources, as needed.
  • Support special event planning and implementation including new student orientation, recruitment events, and commencement.
  • Maintains all information confidential.
  • Provides a broad range of administrative functions. Maintains comprehensive communication among all contacts (internal and external). Models professional standards and ethics in accordance with WNMU philosophy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
