Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled or attending classes at Florida Polytechnic University.
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.25 and have successfully completed 9 credits or more in the most recent fall or spring semester with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of standard office machines and equipment.
  • Skill in English composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Skill in typing/word processing and use of personal computer/software, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Customer service skills and ability to work as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Handle routine office functions including, but not limited to, answering phones, greeting visitors, and providing assistance as required.
  • Assist with completion of forms; basic data entry; file, copy and scan documents.
  • Assist in performing campus tours for prospective students and their families.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of special events.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all University rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Assist in dissemination of information about Florida Polytechnic University.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • $14.25 hourly up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring terms as approved by supervisor.
