About The Position
Assist the welding department to meet production goals along with gain welding experience.
Requirements
- Actively enrolled in a High School Diploma and accredited career tech welding program, required.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment
- Must follow all safety practices and policies.
- Must be able to use PC to check email and complete online tasks, as necessary
Nice To Haves
- Ability to pass 2G MIG welding certification test, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
- Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required.
- Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor/Area Leader.
