About The Position

Work Study Overview We are seeking students enrolled in the Welding program who can commit to working 20 to 40 hours per week. Dearing values flexibility and, with open communication, can adjust to accommodate your specific needs and availability. You will work closely with the Human Resources team to create a schedule that aligns with both your academic commitments and our operational requirements. We aim to ensure a balance that supports your success while meeting the needs of the organization. Safety is Dearing’s #1 priority. Working in this environment will be an adjustment, but we will put you through safety specific training. You will be required to supply some of your own PPE and tools and Dearing will supply other PPE and tools. See the following list below. Required PPE Welding Hood FR Clothing – Pants, welding jacket, or long sleeve shirt. Chipping Hammer Steel-Toe Boots Dearing Will Provide Safety Glasses Welding Gloves Grinding Shields Grinders
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in Welding program
- Must be able to commit to working 20 to 40 hours per week
