The Student Visual Field Technician assists the physicians, technicians and other clinical staff in the appropriate delivery of patient care services by performing visual fields, ophthalmic imaging, patient rooming and initial visual workups.
Performs visual field testing, lensometry and keratometry on patients.
Conducts and records formal and informal visual fields to include, confrontation, Amsler Grid, Goldmann Perimetry, Automated perimetry, and OCT.
Interacts with and assist clinical staff and faculty.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Enrollment at West Virginia University as a part-time or full-time student.
