About The Position

This person will provide assistance to the Grounds & Motor Pool area in maintaining and servicing College vehicles and Grounds equipment. May also provide assistance during in climate weather conditions. The position schedule is as needed and may require working weekends and/or holidays. The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, between the hours 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Current Penn College Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or related degree student.
• Valid and in State Driver's License.
• Possess basic knowledge of and aptitude for working with Automotive Technology equipment.
• Possess basic knowledge of the operation of small grounds equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures.

• Evidence of successful automotive-related or grounds work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the grounds & motor pool area with the repair and invoice process, customer contacts, location of parts, and distribution of repair assignments.
• Assist grounds & motor pool area with maintaining College vehicles and grounds equipment.
• Assist in delivering, cleaning, and fueling the college reserved/rental fleet.
• Assist in snow removal and applying ice melt.
