About The Position

This is a regular student tutor position which will provide in-person academic tutoring to students while maintaining an effective and positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Student must have already taken SOC 4043/5043 - Sociological Statistics and/or SOC 4773/5773 - Sociological Research.
• Must have good written and verbal skills.
• Must be flexible in scheduling tutoring sessions.

Responsibilities

• Assist other students in understanding course material presented in-class and/or online.
• Assist the instructor in various capacities to support student comprehension and learning.
