About The Position
The Student Trainee class is designed to enable high school and college students to prepare for employment upon graduation. Employment in this class entails a wide variety of fundamental tasks in order to familiarize students with the practical application of academic theory. During the academic term, work hours are normally limited to a maximum of twenty hours per week. During academic vacation periods this work hours limit does not apply and students may work full-time. This class is distinguished from the Graduate Student Trainee class by the lower level of responsibility which may be assigned to the Student Trainees.
