About The Position

Our Student to Work program offers a 90-Day mentorship and time for observation. New hire orientation classes include observing styling, color techniques, and practice on mannequins. You will enhance your clipper cutting and fading skills with our advanced classes, along with other on-the-job training, guidance, and feedback from Cosmetologists that are industry leaders. This program provides the opportunity to get to know your Salon Team. We are hiring cosmetology students to join our Student To Work program at BUBBLES! Our Associate Promise is to provide limitless opportunities for our Associates to live their best lives. As a beauty school student, we want you to be prepared to build the income and career of your dreams.

Requirements

• Must be a cosmetology student
• Willingness to learn and ask questions
• Ability to participate in a mentorship program

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a salon environment (preferred but not required)
• Interest in building a clientele

Responsibilities

• Work the reception area, supporting all actions that influence the guest experience per Salon Leader (SL)
• Participate in the training plan developed with your SL
• Partner with a licensed professional to perform consultations on select guests
• Observe the Salon Professionals as they go through their day
• Ask questions and be willing to learn
