The Student Technology Specialist role will primarily be responsible for receiving, processing, and documenting all technology equipment that has been sent to surplus. This includes adjusting inventory records, diagnosing Apple and Windows devices, removing storage devices, sorting equipment onto different pallets for recycling, and assisting staff with questions on available equipment. Individuals in this position are required to be flexible, self-driven, able learn new skills, and able to work independently or as a team. Students in this position must have strong attention to detail, strong research skills, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and be a self-starter. Student Technology Specialist will provide great customer service and create insightful and concise documentation. Students in this position may be expected to lift up to 40lbs.
