Student - Technical/Designer
About The Position
We Energies, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is currently recruiting for a Student -Technical/Designer (Summer Vacation Relief Employee) at our Appleton, WI location. This is a full-time summer positions beginning in May or June. This position is represented by We Energies L2150 Union. The technical summer students will support field engineering by performing construction surveysand staking activities. Candidates must be available to work full-time during the summer. Monday through Friday, 7:00am -3:30pm. Starting Pay: $24.77Job Responsibilities
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School diploma, GED, or HSED.
- Enrolled as a part-time/full-time student pursuing a Technical, Associate, Bachelor, or Master's Degree.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- This position requires you to use your personal vehicle to travel to various worksites throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Assist the design staff.
- Help measure distances.
- Draft preliminary drawings.
- Take job site photos.
- Monitor Return-By Dates.
- Speak with customers.
- Assistance with data entry of customer applications.
- Restoration follow-up.
- Job close outs.
- Support with miscellaneous office duties (sending out mail, other duties as assigned).
