About The Position

Assists Medical Imaging staff with various procedures necessary to the operational efficiency of the department. Assists with image processing, image management, and patient care. Carries out duties as directed by various Medical Imaging staff in the assigned area. Is knowledgeable in the daily activities of Medical Imaging and provides patients with the utmost quality of care. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs.

Requirements

• High School completion / GED
• Allied Health degree
• CPR certification required
• No prior job-related work experience
• Highly motivated, goal-oriented, with strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate & prioritize department, technologist and/or nurse, & patient needs.

Nice To Haves

• Attending an AMA-accredited program of Medical Imaging
• Some Medical Imaging experience in an environment consistent with the types of patients and procedures performed within the Medical Imaging Department.
