About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Student Teacher to join our educational team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring educators to gain hands-on experience and develop their teaching skills in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering instructional activities - Support students' individual learning needs and provide additional help as needed - Observe classroom management techniques and implement them under supervision - Prepare teaching materials and resources to enhance lesson delivery - Participate in classroom activities, discussions, and student assessments - Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment - Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents regarding student progress Skills and Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an education program or related field - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Passion for teaching and student development - Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff - Organized, responsible, and adaptable to different classroom settings - Basic knowledge of educational technology and classroom management tools - Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is a plus Joining our team offers a dynamic environment where you can grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on students' lives. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an education program or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for teaching and student development
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
  • Organized, responsible, and adaptable to different classroom settings
  • Basic knowledge of educational technology and classroom management tools
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or above
  • Grades in the core areas or area of certification/specialty at a 2.5 or above
  • Security clearance through MO Automated Criminal History System
  • Completed Application and Onboarding documents
  • Participation in a sponsored student teaching program at a college/university
  • A formal placement request from the sponsoring college/university

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with children or in educational settings is a plus
