About The Position

The Student Teaching Assistant (TA) for the course DES-370-A User Research II at DigiPen USA LLC is responsible for supporting the instructor in various classroom activities and assisting students in their learning process. This part-time position requires a commitment to help facilitate student presentations, grade assignments, and provide constructive feedback, all while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

• Proven proficiency with the course material (DES-270 and DES-370).
• Positive attitude toward learning and willingness to help others.
• Comfortable interacting with students on an instructional level.
• Reliable, punctual, and invested in the success of fellow students.
• Ability to work independently and give professional critique.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Moodle.

Responsibilities

• Assist the instructor in the classroom as requested.
• Set up and tear down classroom equipment such as tables and easels.
• Make copies for students as needed.
• Grade student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist students during labs and office hours.
• Meet with students online if required.
• Upload grades onto Moodle and ensure timely delivery of graded reports/assignments.
• Track and report the amount of time worked.
