About The Position

The Student Teaching Assistant (TA) for DES-240-A Level Design I at DigiPen Institute of Technology is responsible for supporting the instructor in various classroom activities, including grading, facilitating student presentations, and assisting students during labs. This part-time position requires a commitment to attend scheduled classes and assist with grading and student inquiries outside of class hours. The TA will work closely with the instructor to provide feedback and ensure a positive learning environment for students.

Requirements

• Must be a currently matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology.
• Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Must have taken and passed DES-240 with a B or better.
• Experience with Unreal 5.0 (or higher) is highly sought after.
• Strong overall technical skills to assist students with editor/blueprint questions.
• Strong attention to overall Level Design and guidance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist the instructor in the classroom as requested.

• Provide constructive feedback on graded assignments to students.
